Quantities from small scale samples through to mass production can be handled from our UK base, or, if you wish, at our offshore manufacturing facilities. From the initial steps of research and development through to product manufacturing, Applied Product Design will take care of your product from start to finish.
Applied Product Design lead times for R&D, Design and production are often much faster than our competitors. Once in production we can reduce the manufacturing lead times down even further, often with next day delivery. We can also do this whilst minimising stock using our modern MRP system, and through our efficient global sourcing of components and manufacturing techniques.
Prototyping
Prototyping is vital to getting noticed. Taking your product idea from initial plans to full prototype ready for investors is an essential part of the process. Applied Product Design are skilled in taking your ideas and bringing them to prototype stage in a particularly fast turnaround thanks to our on-site UK facilities.
UK Product Manufacture
If you would like to see your product reach conclusion on home territory, we can provide the following UK product manufacturing services:
- Research and Development
- Design using our various CAD (Computer Aided Design) facilities
- Purchasing of components both from the UK and our off shore partners
- Assembly and testing facilities for prototypes, and production
- Design and manufacture of any tooling or test fixtures that may be required

Offshore Manufacturing
Should larger volumes be required we also offer clients the option of offshore manufacturing using one of several carefully selected partners that we have years of trading experience with. This service will be overseen and managed by the experts at Applied Product Design.
Manufacturing in China
As part of the offshore manufacturing process offered, manufacturing in China is popular among our valued clients. Applied Product Design will oversee the manufacturing of your design in China. If you prefer, your products components can be manufactured in China with final assembly and testing carried out in the UK.
